About the Role:
This is a6-month work experience opportunitydesigned to help you develop your marketing expertise while supporting a small business owner participating in theBuild Your Own Business (BYOB)program. You’ll work virtually alongside the business owner over a 12-week course to implement digital marketing strategies and apply the latest marketing methodologies.
Under the guidance of your mentor,Andrew Ford, a respected educator at Swinburne, RMIT, and Monash Universities with over a decade of experience running his own business, Social Star, you’ll gain invaluable insights into real-world marketing. Andrew founded CampusLife as a social enterprise to give students hands-on experience and help secure meaningful marketing roles post-graduation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and executing digital marketing campaigns
- Support the business owner in creating and refining marketing strategies
- Implement tactics to boost brand visibility and customer engagement
- Analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements
- Collaborate with your mentor to ensure alignment with best marketing practices
- Contribute to social media, email marketing, and content creation efforts

Requirements: Currently enrolled in a marketing degree at an Australian university
