We are seeking a Senior SAP Application Security Consultant to join our SAP Security & Governance consulting practice. The ideal candidate has expertise across SAP GRC Access Control, IAM/IDM platforms, SAP IAG, and modern SAP security architectures. The role spans advisory, design, audit and compliance, governance uplift, AMS and delivery leadership across S/4HANA (Private & Public Cloud), SAP BTP, Fiori, IAS/IPS, and integrated cloud platforms.
The consultant should be comfortable working with next-generation technologies, including SAP IAG, BTP extensions, AI-driven automation, analytics, and adaptive security models.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver SAP security advisory and consulting services across multiple clients.
* Lead security architecture and role design for S/4HANA, Fiori (Spaces & Pages), BTP, IAS/IPS, BWZ, and integrated systems.
* Configure and optimise SAP GRC Access Control (AEM, ARM, BRM, EAM, SoD frameworks).
* Integrate SAP landscapes with IAM/IDM tools (SailPoint, MS Entra, Okta, SAP IDM, Ping) and SAP IAG for cloud risk, access requests, and SoD.
* Guide clients on AI-enabled security capabilities, including automated compliance, risk scoring, adaptive controls, and predictive insights.
* Support operational governance processes:
* Periodic access review
* Privileged access and role lifecycle governance
* Audit preparation, remediation planning
* SoD and licence optimisation
* Lead AMS or project-based SAP Security workstreams.
* Facilitate workshops, solution walkthroughs, and executive stakeholder engagement.
* Mentor junior consultants and contribute to practice methods, accelerators, and emerging-technology adoption.
Required Skills
* 7+ years SAP Application Security experience across ECC and S/4HANA.
* Strong hands-on SAP GRC Access Control expertise (mandatory).
* Experience with IAM/IDM tools and SAP IAG for cloud risk and access governance.
* Understanding of adaptive/AI-driven security models, automation, or analytics in security operations.
* Strong knowledge of SoD, audit frameworks, compliance controls, and risk governance.
* Exposure to S/4HANA Public & Private Cloud, Fiori, BTP, IAS/IPS, BWZ.
* Experience with SuccessFactors/ECP and cross-application authorisation models advantageous.
* Consulting capability including stakeholder engagement, communication and leadership.
* AMS or project security lead experience, including service delivery processes.
