Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the costs and finances of our construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities:
* Conduct cost estimates, budgets, and financial forecasts for construction projects.
* Analyse blueprints and specifications to accurately estimate material, labour, and equipment costs.
* Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop cost-effective solutions.
* Monitor project progress and expenditures, identifying areas for cost-saving opportunities.
* Prepare and submit progress and cost reports to clients and stakeholders.
* Conduct risk assessments and implement strategies to mitigate financial risks.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in commercial construction/building projects.
* Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, and project management principles.
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
