The RoleThis position is responsible for providing proactive practice support and administrative assistance to the lawyers of the firm, primarily related to billable client work.
The role involves ensuring clients are serviced professionally and in accordance with the firm's policies and procedures.This includes being part of a client matter team and supporting all matter-related processes from inception to project completion, billing, and collection.
The Practice Support Coordinator will take full ownership of their key responsibilities outlined below.Key ResponsibilitiesMatter ManagementClient and matter clearance and openingAML processesEngagement lettersMTM maintenanceManaging associate's checklistMatter document folderMatter project administration (from opening to closing), including setting up SharePoint sites, updating email distribution lists, and supporting post-closing activities such as billing, archiving, and calendar managementClient & matter-team meetings and updatesCommercials/Billing/CollectionsMonitoring project scope, estimates, caps, billing agreements, and matter balance reportsWorking capital management, including organizing monthly review meetings and preparing draftsSupporting billing and collection tasks, including raising bills, invoices, tax computations, and liaising with the billing teamBusiness Development SupportAmending business development materials and monitoring collateral updatesOrganizing and supporting events, including virtual onesUpdating clients and coordinating schedules with the BD teamMatter Team SupportDocument production, editing, and e-FilingPost-closing activities and distribution of legal documentsLegal Tech & ProjectsSupporting the use of legal technology and facilitating end-of-matter reviews for opportunitiesActing as a superuser for delivery toolsQualificationsMinimum 2 years' relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environmentProficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPointStrong organizational and meticulous attention to detailProactive, mature, collaborative, and respectful team playerAbility to work autonomously and in teams, with a focus on process improvementWho We AreWe are one of the largest international law firms, with over 30 offices worldwide.
