Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Electrician Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful applicant will have a current electrical licence and experience working in a production environment.
* Maintain plant and equipment through preventative measures
* Resolve technical issues with operational equipment
* Install new production equipment and test its functionality
* Inspect and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, and other components in machine control panels
* Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, voltage, and resistance
* Maintain, repair, install, and test switchgear, transformers, and switchboard meters
* Maintain, repair, test, and install electrical motors, generators, UPS's, and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems
* Servicing and maintaining motors, conveyor systems, transmission/drive systems, and related production equipment
* Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns in production machines
* Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades
* Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks
* Liaise with the Production Team regarding maintenance and servicing of production equipment
