What You'll DoPlan, allocate, and oversee daily maintenance tasks, including preventive maintenance and urgent repairs.Issue job cards to technicians and monitor completion of plant and utility maintenance activities.Supervise on-floor activities, ensuring high efficiency and quality of work.Collaborate with the Spare Parts Administrator to manage procurement and availability of critical spare parts.Ensure all risk assessments, permits, and Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) are completed prior to work commencement.Lead the response to major breakdowns, working hands-on alongside your team as needed.Conduct and document daily safety checks, reporting any identified safety issues.Communicate daily maintenance activities, priorities, and concerns to the Maintenance Manager.What You BringStrong leadership and team coordination skills, driving daily maintenance activities.Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance and urgent repair management.A proactive approach to safety, ensuring compliance with all workplace requirements.Excellent communication skills for collaboration with technicians, management, and administration teams.Strong organisational skills to monitor, document, and report maintenance and safety activities.A commitment to continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and equipment reliability.Experience & QualificationsMinimum Certificate III trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, or related field (or equivalent technical degree/certification).
Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.Proficiency in maintenance management software, preferably Fiix and SAP.OSHA or equivalent safety certification highly regarded.Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.Flexibility to work diverse hours, including after-hours when required.What We OfferCompetitive salary packagePart of a large global organisation with extensive support networkSupportive and safety-focused work environment
