About The Role
* Lead the delivery of all new and project IT procurement activities, including commercial strategy, sourcing, negotiation and contracting.
* Provide high‐level commercial and procurement advice to senior stakeholders, ensuring optimal outcomes for ART across complex initiatives.
* Build trusted advisor relationships with Technology and Business leaders to inform procurement strategies aligned to ART's IT roadmap and 2030 strategy.
* Lead and support complex sourcing and negotiation activities with strategic IT vendors, delivering strong commercial and contractual outcomes.
* Oversee the development, negotiation and execution of IT contracts, ensuring alignment to governance, performance and risk frameworks.
* Implement and maintain IT procurement governance, frameworks and processes across assigned vendors and contracts.
* Drive cost optimisation initiatives, identifying and delivering savings, value creation and innovation across project and new procurement activity.
* Lead, develop and manage a team of procurement professionals, ensuring high service delivery standards, capability uplift and continuous improvement.

About You
* Extensive experience leading large‐scale IT procurement negotiations with strategic vendors (e.g. Microsoft, Telcos, Managed Service Providers, Tier‐1 consultancies).
* Strong commercial modelling, sourcing and negotiation capability within IT procurement and contracting.
* Demonstrated success managing complex commercial and contractual arrangements across multiple technology categories.
* Tertiary qualifications in a business‐related discipline and/or relevant professional accreditation (e.g. CIPS Level 4 or equivalent).
* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare executive‐level briefings and advice.
* Proven ability to manage competing priorities, deliver outcomes under tight timeframes and operate with strong attention to detail.
* Experience analysing spend, developing sourcing strategies and producing meaningful commercial and performance reporting.
* A strong stakeholder focus, with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships across technology, business and vendor environments.
