Health and Safety Manager - Senior Health Professional
This is a site-based position on a 2:1 roster, offering an ideal opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Organise and lead thorough audits, site inspections, and control assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
* Investigate incidents thoroughly, including comprehensive reviews, to identify areas for improvement.
* Develop and implement health, safety, and emergency management strategies that align with client specifications and industry best practices.
* Facilitate risk assessment workshops and contribute to the development of construction method statements.
* Provide expert advice on legislative requirements and best practices in health and safety.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Hold qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field, such as a degree in Health Science or Environmental Management.
* Have experience developing and managing health and safety policies and systems, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Demonstrate expertise in greenfield projects, precast walls, earthworks, and access roads, with a strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
* Show excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels, from workers to senior management.
* Demonstrate a proven track record in risk assessments, incident investigations, and corrective actions, with a focus on continuous improvement.
