Lead Business Development Manager

Your role as Lead Business Development Manager will involve building strategic plans to drive business growth in localised areas. This is an all-rounder role that requires strong leadership, commercial, and operational skills.


Main Responsibilities:

* Coaching and Developing Competencies: Work closely with your team to help them achieve their performance and career development goals.
* Prioritising Business Performance: Track key performance indicators, report, and create strategic plans to drive business growth.
* Community Relationships: Work closely with local stakeholders to build and nurture relationships, being the face of our brand, and actively participating in community events.
* Leading by Example: Prioritise customer experience, and step in wherever needed.
* Lifelong Learning: Bring your brilliant mind, and we'll help you take your career to the next level with on-the-job training and other learning opportunities.
* Building Connections: Support customers, give back, and make our communities a better place, while having some fun along the way.


About You:

* People Leadership: Develop, coach, and manage staff performance.
* Sales Mentorship: Implement strategies to drive business growth.
* Lending Experience: Residential and commercial lending essential.
* Communication Skills: Deliver clear expectations.
* Financial Management: Understanding of business acumen and risk framework.
* Operational Efficiency: Drive efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance.
* Lending Products: High-level understanding of policies and regulations.
* Retail Operations: Knowledge of branch operations.
