We are seeking a skilled and passionate Casual Duty Technician (Installer) to support the delivery of high-quality exhibitions and events at Moonah Arts Centre. This hands-on role focuses on visual arts installation, technical support, and ensuring a safe and professional environment for artists, hirers, and visitors. In this role, you will provide technical advice, installation expertise, and operational support to deliver a dynamic program of exhibitions, events, and creative activities. Working collaboratively with the Creative Communities team, you will help ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the centre while maintaining high presentation and safety standards. What you’ll bring: To be successful in the role you will A qualification and/or minimum of 3 to 4 years’ experience in the visual arts specifically in the installation of visual art exhibitions. Proven experience and knowledge of exhibition gallery lighting and technical equipment. Experience and knowledge of venue and event risk management. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and autonomously on specific projects. First Aid Certification Working at Heights Working with Vulnerable Person’s check Drivers Licence (preferred not essential) Position Hours: Casual, as required.
