The newly completed Reservoir Wing heralds a new era in aged care, with intimate dining rooms, light-filled lounges, spacious bedroom suites, and seamless connections to the outdoors.About the RoleWe are currently seeking passionate and caring individuals to join our team as Personal Care Workers on a permanent part-time basis. Our fixed fortnightly roster includes a commitment to at least one day per weekend with shifts available in either AM or PM or ND patterns.As a Personal Care Worker in our facility, you may:Deliver personal care, including showering, grooming, dressing, and mobility assistance.Support residents with daily living tasks such as meal assistance and maintaining a clean and comfortable environment.Monitor residents’ physical, emotional, and behavioural well-being, promptly reporting any concerns.Encourage social engagement and assist with recreational and group activities.Provide care to residents with complex needs, including palliative care, dementia support, and pain management, to enhance their well-being.Support nursing staff with assessments, documentation, and evaluation of care outcomes.Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the environment, promptly addressing any issues.We currently recruiting to the following ongoing Rostered Shifts:Night Duty (ND) Shift: 9:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Thursday to Saturday, Weeks 1 & 2 – 6 shifts per fortnight)PM Shift: 2:45 PM – 10:00 PM (Thursday to Friday and Thursday to Saturday, Weeks 1 & 2 – 5 shifts per fortnight)PM Shift: 2:45 PM – 10:00 PM (Thursday to Saturday, Weeks 1 & 2 – 6 shifts per fortnight)AM Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Sunday to Wednesday, Weeks 1 & 2 – 8 shifts per fortnight)PM Shift: 2:45 PM – 10:00 PM (Wednesday to Saturday, Weeks 1 & 2 – 8 shifts per fortnight)* Available shifts are subject to changeWhat We’re Looking ForA caring and empathetic nature is essential, along with a commitment to supporting residents to live with dignity and comfort.
