The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Commercial Analyst wanting to take the next step in their career or a Finance Business Partner wanting to expand their skills and gain exposure in an operationally focused role.

The Challenge
Work with the senior executives across the business unit to ensure the business is receiving commercial decision support services to enable superior strategic decisions. Critically, the position will also support the SLT with strategic support for growth, new product and investment initiatives.
Specifically, you will be involved in delivering the following:
* Play a key role in driving profitability for the business unit. This includes producing high quality commercial analysis to help guide decision making.
* Work with cross functional teams to ensure that business plans and forecasts are understood and owned and reflect current business strategies.
* Evaluate market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision making.
* Be intimately involved in the Sales & Operations Planning process including driving significant improvements and building and owning the S&OP financial model.
* Business case preparation and financial modelling for growth initiatives and investments.
* Production of P&L reporting and working with ELT and Heads of to lead and influence integrated and cross functional monthly decision-making forums.
* Provide leadership support, direction and technical expertise to stakeholders in all aspects of commercial management and provide insights and recommendation for ongoing improvements.
* Work closely with the broader finance community to lead the development of common best practice processes and standardised ways of working.
* Co-ordinate, manage, deliver, and present the business plan including strategic initiative overlays.
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
* CPA/CA Qualification.
* Several years' experience of working within a relevant commercial finance position, ideally working with operational stakeholders in a manufacturing environment.
* Intermediate excel skills and the ability to proactively develop financial models to guide business decisions.
* Strong communication and personable skills and the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholders.
* Stakeholder management experience.
