**We are looking for a Business Unit Administrator to join our team with a positive, solutions focused attitude, exceptional time management skills and experience leading a small team.**: 
Reporting directly to the Queensland General Manager, your primary responsibility is to support the business unit with all administrative works.
The role is very autonomous and you will plan your week to deliver efficient administrative service to the Queensland team. In house training will be provided to support you.

**About the role**: 
This will include, but is not limited to:
- Processing progress claims, invoices and monthly payments for debtors and creditors including raising purchase orders 
- Inputting project budgets, variations and assisting with monthly financial forecasting and reports 
- Facilitating human resource activities including recruitment, training, onboarding/offboarding employees and processing weekly employee timesheets 
- Draft all internal business unit communications as directed 
- Coordination of reports to key stakeholders and management of internal meetings 
- Administering subcontractor and supplier agreements for Project Managers 
- Create and provide direction on using the project files during tender and delivery phases 
- Assist with tender submissions 
- Manage travel, car hire and accommodation bookings as needed 
- Assist with event management and planning 
- Lead a small administration team and delegate tasks accordingly
**About you**: 
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills 
- Experience managing human resources matters and handling confidential information 
- Proven experience managing project financials, debtors and creditors 
- Experience developing internal processes and documentation systems 
- Ability to adapt to changing situations in a calm and skilled manner 
- Previous experience in the building and construction services sector is advantageous
