We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Senior Finance Manager to help shape the financial future of one of NSW’s largest health districts. In this leadership role, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to drive strategic decisions and ensure resources are used effectively to meet operational and long-term goals.

Playing a pivotal role in overseeing financial operations, administration, and operations of the wider business. You will be responsible for:
* Lead the development of annual budgets, financial forecasts, business plans, and reporting across key portfolios.
* Provide accurate, timely and high-quality financial analysis to support the District Executive and Ministry of Health.
* Collaborate with Cost Centre Managers to review performance, provide insights, and guide financial decision-making.
* Monitor and report on performance metrics and work closely with the Ministry on forward estimates and supplementation processes.
* Lead and mentor a team of accountants, fostering a high-performance culture built on learning, feedback, and shared success.
* Contribute to system enhancements and process improvements that support long-term efficiency and strategic goals.

What You Will Need To Succeed
* Tertiary qualification in finance, business management or the equivalent and/or relevant experience, with membership or commitment to obtain full membership of a Professional Accounting body, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
* A confident communicator who thrives in stakeholder engagement and can translate complex financial data into clear insights.
* A growth mindset: you’re coachable, open to feedback, and see your long-term future in the health sector.
