Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Boarding Supervisor Active Night Duty in the beautiful city of Broome, Western Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe and supportive environment for students, promoting their academic, social, emotional, and physical development. They will also be required to maintain regular communication with colleagues, parents, school staff, and others involved in supporting student development and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide supervision and support to students in a residential setting
* Initiate, plan, document, and safely lead leisure activities for secondary students
* Develop and maintain strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills
* Work effectively both independently and as a member of a team
* Meet and maintain the required eligibility and training requirements of this position
Requirements
* Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights
* Consent to a National Criminal History Check
* Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check if required
* Work according to rostered hours which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays
