Part time Sales Assistant
The Salvation Army Australia – Nurioopta, SA
We are looking for a talented, values-driven individual to support the Store Manager with day‑to‑day operations and create an inspiring in‑store experience for our team, customers and community members. The role is a permanent part‑time position (19 hours per week).
Responsibilities
- Retail sales and operation of Point‑of‑Sale devices.
- Collecting, sorting and pricing donated goods in store.
- Assist in visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service.
- Display stock in correct departments following policy and procedure.
- Follow Occupational Health and Safety policy and procedures.
- Demonstrate TSA core values in all work‑related activities.
About You
- Experience in retail sales is preferred but not essential.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Passion for delivering outstanding results in a rewarding, complex retail environment.
- Alignment with TSA values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration and diversity.
- High energy, hands‑on individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible to work a rolling roster, including weekends, and prepared to work across various retail locations.
