We are seeking an experienced and highly creative Senior Interior Designer to join a leading multidisciplinary design studio delivering premium projects across hospitality, mixed-use, residential, entertainment and large-scale developments throughout Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
This is an exciting opportunity for a design‐led professional with strong technical capability and proven experience delivering projects from concept through to construction. The successful candidate will take a leadership role across all project phases, working closely with senior stakeholders, consultants, clients and the broader design team to create thoughtful, high‐quality interior environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead interior design projects across all stages from briefing and concept design through to documentation and delivery
* Develop creative design solutions, FF&E selections, material palettes and presentation packages
* Provide design direction and oversee documentation for all interior design components
* Coordinate consultants, contractors and internal project teams
* Attend client meetings, presentations and site visits
* Prepare defect reports and assist with project delivery on site
* Support project programming and help achieve key deadlines
* Mentor junior and intermediate designers within the team
* Work collaboratively with architecture and interiors teams to deliver integrated design outcomes
About You
* 8–10+ years' experience in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
* Strong experience across hospitality, mixed‐use, luxury residential or complex large‐scale projects
* Excellent design, communication and presentation skills
* Demonstrated ability to lead projects and manage client relationships
* Strong understanding of Australian materials, documentation and construction processes
* High attention to detail with strong organisational and problem‐solving skills
* Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, SketchUp and other industry-standard software
* Ability to thrive within a collaborative and fast‐paced studio environment
