Service Stream's Utilities division is seeking experienced Civil Construction workers to join us.
Due to growth, Service Stream's Utilities division is seeking experienced civil and construction workers, pipelayers, spotters, labourers, excavator operators, to work on our partnership account with SA Water.
Your experience on infrastructure projects, reactive corrective operational maintenance and or planned works is highly desirable. Experience with water and wastewater assets is advantageous.
With depots at Hope Valley and Happy Valley, you will work across metropolitan Adelaide, safely and professionally undertaking the physical field aspects of operational maintenance of water and wastewater assets.
Nature of positions: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Happy Valley, SA
Hourly Rate: $30.06 to $41.61 ph / pd (based on experience and shift)
- ASAP start - permanent, full-time opportunities.
- Progressive long-term partnership with SA Water.
- Reactive and planned, water and wastewater operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and complete daily work tasks including fault finding and restoration.
- Ensure response and actions to jobs are achieved in the relevant KPI timeframe.
- Use of multiple apps and software including work order apps, geographical information maps (GIS), time-sheeting, accessing documentation etc.
- Maintaining tools of trade, including vehicle, hand tools, plant, and equipment.
- Confidentially engage with customers in a professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and regulations always related to health and safety.
About you
- Hold a current driver's license, relevant tickets, and white card.
- Skilled in use of hand power tools / small machinery.
- Enjoy working outdoors, rain, hail, or shine
- Day shift 7am - 3.30pm with a rotating afternoon shift (1 in every 5 weeks including on-call and weekend). _OR_
- Option for permanent Afternoon Shift - 4pm start - includes penalties
- Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team.
- Complete background checks; police clearance, medical and references.
