We are looking for an Individual Contributor to be responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting to closing business. The Sales Executive is assigned a geographic territory to manage, develop and market Kyriba’s solutions in order to secure new subscription business in our Software-as-a-Service business model. In this case, the territory is ANZ. Working in collaboration with sales leadership and the sales operations team, the Sales Director engages with VP, Senior VP and C-level contacts within prospective customers developing relationships and closing business at or above expected and assigned levels per period.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Build, nurture and execute pipeline in collaboration with Marketing, Partners and Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to drive bookings within your territory
2. Own entire sales process from prospecting to closing business
3. Coordinate and lead responses to RFIs/RFPs, Requests for Information and pricing requests
4. Present Kyriba’s proposals in a professional manner to prospects
5. Provide feedback to management and Marketing team on prospects reactions and questions about Kyriba’s solutions
6. Collaborate with other Kyriba teams including pre-sales, product, operations, and legal.
7. Travel throughout sales territory
8. Ensures opportunities are accurately reflected and maintained in Salesforce, providing weekly updates, monthly projections and quarterly committed forecasts of sales activity and volume to Kyriba NA Sales management team
9. Attend conferences and industry related events within assigned territory and as requested
10. Prepare for meetings and tailor communications to address business needs of potential clients as part of the pre-sales process
Experience, Education and Skills:
11. Results driven individual with a minimum 5+ years of successful experience in selling software and SaaS solutions required
12. Consistently among the top 10% of peers in every role held
13. Strong background in Treasury or experience selling to the CFO buying centre required
14. Knowledgeable about the industry, understands basic treasury concepts, and proactively updates on industry trends for personal and organisational knowledge
15. Ability to understand financial data relationships and how that data can be used to solve business problems
16. Must possess superior written, verbal and strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate technical information professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and verbally when presenting to prospects or internally
17. Understand the buying process in large corporations and how to navigate the decision maker network to close business
18. Strength in strategic, conceptual, and consultative selling
19. Ability to understand financial data relationships and how that data can be used to solve business problems
20. Experience using CRM sales applications, such as Salesforce.com
21. Possess excellent negotiating and professional networking skills
22. Willingness to travel up to 50 percent of the time depending on assigned territory
23. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Administration, Economics, IT, Finance or MBA preferred
