About The Role
As a Personal Care Worker, you will provide essential support and care to residents, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing in their daily lives. You’ll work under the guidance of Registered Nurses and be a vital part of a close-knit care team.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care & Support:
Assist residents with daily living tasks such as personal hygiene, grooming, mobility, and mealsProvide emotional support and companionshipHelp residents maintain their independence and quality of lifeSupport residents to participate in activities and community engagementMonitor and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional health to clinical staff
Teamwork & Safety:
Work collaboratively with nurses, allied health, and other staff to deliver person-centered careMaintain accurate documentation using electronic systemsAdhere to infection control, health, and safety policiesContribute to a positive, respectful, and inclusive team culture

Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate IV Ageing SupportCurrent CPR CertificateCurrent driver's licenceExperience working in residential aged care or similar environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to follow care plans and document accuratelyFull Australian working rights
Desirable:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate IV Ageing SupportExperience with electronic care systemsKnowledge of aged care standards and best practices
Compliance Requirements:
National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)National Personal Insolvency CheckSponsorship is not on offer at this time
