**Your new role**
As a Risk Advisor, you will be responsible for:
- Aid business units with the identification and record of Key Risk and Controls
- Develop a controls self-assessment program to ensure controls are tested regularly
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to reduce the likelihood or impact of identified risks.
- Monitor and track the status of identified risks, assessing their potential impact and the effectiveness of mitigation efforts.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging risk trends and best practices, to secure necessary resources, approvals, and support for the successful implementation of the remediation plan.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Experience within Operational Risk or Enterprise Risk related roles, ideally in the Line 1 capacity.
- Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
- Solid understanding of risk and compliance principles and frameworks
- Banking experience ideal but not mandatory
