The Opportunity
This role offers genuine flexibility. You can work commercial-only, or across both residential and commercial projects, depending on your background and preference. You'll be supported by an established team while helping drive the growth and capability of the commercial arm of the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Assessing and issuing building approvals across commercial and/or residential projects
* Managing and delivering commercial certification projects from approval through to completion
* Conducting mandatory inspections and issuing compliance documentation
* Providing technical advice to builders, designers, and clients
* Ensuring compliance with the NCC, relevant legislation, and local requirements
* Liaising with councils and key stakeholders
* Supporting the continued growth of the commercial project portfolio
About You
* Registered Level 1 Building Surveyor (or close to registration)
* Experience in commercial certification (residential experience also welcomed)
* Strong knowledge of the NCC and Queensland building legislation
* Confident communicator with a practical, solutions‐focused approach
* Organised, professional, and comfortable managing your own projects
