We provide 1 in every 3 pathology services in Australia, servicing some of the largest and most complex hospitals as well as small Indigenous Australian communities, offering job stability, interstate mobility, and opportunities to fulfil your career ambitions.What You Will Be DoingAs a Hospital Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will report to the Hospital Collector Lead and work in a team across wards including Paediatrics, Medical, ICU, CCU, Emergency, Oncology, Special Care Nursery, Maternity and Rehabilitation, delivering great customer service and quality healthcare. 
You will use your exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to liaise with doctors, nurses and patients to understand needs and requirements of the environment and patient.Your key responsibilities will include:Liaising & building effective relationships with a range of stakeholders within the hospital including doctors, nurses and patientsAdvanced Pathology Collection - Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) across different wards & areas including Paediatrics, difficult bleeds and AGBs with care and attentionKeeping meticulous records for every patient and sampleWhat Type of Person Will Be SuccessfulTo be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector. 
You could currently work in a hospital or a clinic and are looking to diversify and grow your career. 
You could also be a Registered Nurse looking to swap overnight work for regular daytime shifts.
