Due to current growth, we are seeking an experienced Handy/Groundsperson to fill a full-time vacancy at our site at Borumba.
The village at Borumba is a BIBO site where you will drive to a parking compound close to Kilcoy and be bused to and from site for your swing.
* Locals are encouraged to apply, and accommodation and meals are supplied whilst rostered onsite.
The Role:
* Previous camp maintenance experience will be highly regarded
* Previous experience with pumps is essential
* Undertake preventative maintenance duties as required
* Maintain village grounds in a neat and tidy condition
* Perform general gardening tasks, including weeding, mowing lawns, and pruning trees
* Operate and maintain gardening equipment effectively
* Empty and clean village rubbish bins regularly
* Able to handle extra tasks as needed
* Ability to work independently without supervision
To be considered, you must have or be willing to obtain:
1. Australian Driver's Licence/Manual C Class (must be any Australian State) - International licence is not accepted
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug screen
2. Ability to complete the White Card (Construction) course
