Programmed Energy & Resources currently have two available positions for an enthusiastic and motivated Fitter and Fitter/Machinist for a local role in Kwinana.
* Location: Kwinana (DIDO)
* Rate: $67.50phr + 10% for nights
* February start date
About the Roles
Workshop fitter: End of year - Days only 3:2:4:5 roster
* Required experience working in a maintenance workshop environment.
* Centrifugal pump experience Warman pumps and Gallagher pumps etc would help along with any SAP experience.
* Also nice to have would be Gearbox, Compressor and machining experience.
Breakdown Fitter - (Recovery Team): 3month Term - Days & Nights
* Would be required to work with the Recovery Team, reporting to the Recovery team supervisor. This is a fast paced and varied role, working on site priority breakdowns.
* Flexibility and communication skills are essential
* Priorities often change during the day which is why communication and flexibility are so important in this role.
* Experience rebuilding pumps in the field - Warman, Gallagher etc along with he ability to learn our first break process, wear chem suits, respirators (willingness to be clean shaven) SCBA etc. Work with Acid, TiCl4 etc etc.
Role Requirements
* Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
* White Card
* Working at Heights & Confined Space Tickets (within 2 years)
* High Risk Licence (highly desired)
* Current & Valid Drivers Licence
* Ability to complete and pass a Medical & Drug & Alcohol Screening
* Ability to complete Online Inductions
* Reliable transport to and from site
