We are looking for an enthusiastic Workshop 2IC who has great technical knowledge to join a busy Newcastle workshop.
You will need to have proven ability to develop business relationships, drive sales, and lead and motivate a small team. The role will suit someone who has a genuine interest in cars and be passionate about the automotive industry. Ideally, you will be a qualified mechanic, however, if you have had experience working within an automotive workshop and have strong automotive parts and sales knowledge, then we would love to also hear from you.
**As part of this role, you will**:
- Be able to coordinate workshop tasks and perform jobs in an efficient manner to provide effective automotive workshop organisation/coordination
- Demonstrate leadership to motivate and support your team to achieve store targets
- Excellence in customer service and liaise with customers

- Communication skills, ability to work as a team to achieve store targets
- Time Management, ability to deal with competing priorities and coordinate tasks to perform jobs in an efficient manner
- Naturally be technical and mechanically focused with proven ability to perform automotive duties when required
