Position: Assistant Accountant Intern - Internship

Known for delivering exceptional travel experiences, they are seeking a motivated and ambitious Assistant Accountant Intern to join their team for a 3-month internship. DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a dedicated and driven Assistant Accountant Intern to support our client's accounting and finance team. This internship provides hands-on experience and an excellent opportunity to develop valuable skills for a career in both the accounting and travel sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as data entry, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports
* Support the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
* Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
* Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities
* Conduct research and analysis to support financial decision-making
* Maintain accurate and organised financial records
* Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks
* Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the Accounting Manager
* Exposure into company softwares MYOB, Employment Hero, and others
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
* Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong time-management and organizational skills
* Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
