We are looking for passionate graduates who want to make a real difference in the lives of those they treat to join our two-year graduate program. You will work with a team of dedicated allied health professionals, supporting clients on their journey to return to work and life after physical or psychological injury.
Responsibilities include:
1. Providing initial assessment, psychometric testing, and brief interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers.
2. Performing employment vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support.
3. Conducting initial assessments with injured workers and case management for return to employment.
4. Assessing and reporting on psychological functional capacities and completing assessments.
5. Making recommendations on the effects of mental health and medical conditions on work ability.
6. Writing detailed case notes and reports.
7. Working with veterans and supporting their psychosocial, medical, and return-to-work goals.
8. Providing adjustment to injury and vocational counseling in-person and via phone.
9. Working with clients from diverse socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial, and cultural backgrounds.
