Responsibilities
* Lead Generation & Client Acquisition – identify prospects, make contact via cold-calling, and convert new leads into active clients.
* Account Management – manage client inquiries, quotes, and follow-ups; build trusted relationships with top-tier and emerging clients.
* Strategy & Revenue Growth – contribute to revenue strategies, oversee tender submissions, and present the Envirolab value proposition.
* Client Engagement – conduct regular site visits and maintain a presence at industry events and conferences.
* Team Leadership – mentor and coach sales representatives, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of commercial excellence.
* Process Improvement – lead initiatives to streamline workflows, improve client service delivery, and contribute to business efficiency.
Qualifications
* 3+ years experience in business development or sales, preferably in a scientific or technical industry.
* Bachelor's degree in Science, Business or a related field (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of CRM tools and reporting systems.
* Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
* A collaborative approach and experience in mentoring junior team members.
* Ability to travel interstate and attend events as needed.
