We are looking for Sales Consultant in Laverton North, Victoria for a company specializing in automotive industry.
This is a Permanent position for the right candidate.
Pay: AUD 55,000 + Super Per annum
Key Responsibilities
Customer Consultation & Product Expertise
Provide expert guidance to customers in selecting and sourcing the correct second-hand or recycled vehicle parts.
Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of vehicle systems and component compatibility.
Sales Leadership
Lead sales initiatives to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities to support business expansion.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with loyal customers, mechanic workshops, collision repair centres, and trade clients.
Foster repeat business and secure new accounts through exceptional service and industry expertise.
Market & Industry Insight
Stay informed on market trends, emerging vehicle technologies, and competitor activity.
Use market intelligence to support strategic decision-making and recommend growth opportunities.
Operational Responsibilities
Ensure accurate documentation, quoting, and order processing.
Collaborate with warehouse and procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing and delivery of parts.
Maintain high standards of customer service and uphold company values.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in the automotive parts, recycled parts, or dismantling industry (mandatory).
Strong understanding of vehicle systems, part compatibility, and industry practices.
Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.Ability to build effective relationships with customers and industry partners.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Computer literacy with experience in quoting, CRM systems, and parts catalogues.
