We're looking for an
AI Engineer
with
deep modelling skills
and
strong engineering capabilities
to lead the development of AI solutions from the ground up.
This is
not
a prompt-engineering or API-wrapping role. You must understand AI academically and practically be able to look at a business problem, select the right modelling approach, train and validate models, and deploy them into production environments.

What You'll Do
Analyse business problems and select the right modelling techniques (classical ML, ensemble models, deep learning, clustering, optimisation, probabilistic modelling, etc.).
Architect the AI systems that build tomorrow's enterprise technology landscape.
Build, evaluate, tune, and validate models using real business data.
Work with agentic AI patterns and protocols such as MCP and modern multi-agent frameworks.
Build services, APIs, and pipelines around your models.
Deploy AI workloads into Azure with our software engineering team.
Work closely with devs building our new cloud-first ERP (Azure, .NET, microservices).
Access, prepare, and operationalise data in Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Engineering, Warehousing, SQL Endpoint).
Rapidly prototype new ideas and technologies.
Evaluate emerging AI tooling and frameworks for fit-for-purpose adoption.
Contribute to internal capability building as our AI practice scales.
What You Bring
Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering high-value solutions in areas such as platforms, automation, or AI-driven systems.
Deep hands-on experience with modern cloud environments, microservices, and CI/CD automation.
Strong academic foundation in machine learning, AI, modelling, statistics, optimisation, or related fields.
Demonstrated experience training, tuning, and evaluating a variety of models—not just calling LLM APIs.
Hands-on engineering skills across multiple stacks (Python, .NET, JS/TS, or similar).
Ability to build APIs and integrate AI solutions with existing systems.
Experience (or strong interest) in agentic AI, MCP, and modern agent frameworks.
Ability to communicate complex AI decisions in simple, practical terms.
