About the role
A rare and exciting opportunity has come available for an experienced Residential Aged Care Manager to lead our Aged and Home Care Services at Tjilpi Pampaku Ngura Flexible Aged Care facility located in the remote community of Kaltukatjara (Docker River) Northern Territory / Central Australia.
This role will see you leading the daily operations of our Aged Care facility and ensure that our residents receive high-quality, person-centered care. You will be responsible for the operational, clinical and administrative functions of our facility and work closely with residents, families, staff and external provides including allied health and pharmacists to maintain and deliver a safe and compliant workplace.
As the successful candidate, you will bring prior experience managing and leading an Aged Care facility, ideally within the flexible framework. You will hold strong leadership skills and have a solid understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory frameworks. You will be a person who is adaptable and operates with a 'hands on' approach whereby you lead by example demonstrating core values of our organization.
You will be a qualified RN or higher discipline and, have a current, unrestricted AHPRA registration.
Tjilpi Pampaku Ngura Flexible Aged Care is a 19 residential bed facility and Home Care services locally is also operated out of our RAC. It is in the remote community of Kaltukatjara and is a facility that embraces local indigenous cultures. At Tjilpi Pampaku Ngura – Flexibility is the key word, residents experience care 'their way' and staff are encouraged to deliver a person-centered care philosophy.
Remuneration and benefits of working with ARRCS:
ARRCS are offering an exclusive package for this role, below is what our package includes:
* Fly In / Fly Out (FIFO) – Roster will be a 10 week on site and 2 week off site arrangement and includes return economy flights from closest Australian capital city airport to Docker River.
* Gross Annual Salary of $150,000 PA plus super.
* Accommodation and reasonable meals including general grocery items when on site.
* Six weeks paid annual leave.
* Vehicle provided for business purposes when onsite.
* Bonus of $5,000 gross payable after two years continuous service then yearly thereafter in addition to annual salary review.

* Access to a skilled and resourced in-house Clinical Education team to support you not only on Aged Care legislation, but to continue to work with you with personal, clinical and professional development.
* Relocation support of up to $5,000 if required.
Skills & experience
To be considered for this role, we will be looking at the following experience and qualifications:
* Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
* Bachelor of Nursing or similar qualification.
* Full working rights to work in Australia – This package is not offered on a sponsorship basis.
* Minimum of 3 years Aged Care Management experience overseeing multi-disciplinary teams within an Australian Aged Care facility, Flexible Aged Care preferred but not essential.
* Demonstrated experience leading a clinical team and strong leadership and mentoring skills.
* Knowledge and ability to interpret and apply the Aged Care Quality Standards and regulatory legislation including evidence of study in the areas of business or management and ability to demonstrate business acumen (desired).
* Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills and ability to coach frontline staff.
* Demonstrated commitment to customer service and business improvement.
* Strong knowledge of and commitment to workplace safety.
* Ability to meet and obtain mandatory compliance requirements.
