About the Role
We are seeking a Remote Area Registered Nurse for a 12-month Maximum Term Contract. The role will be based at our Mount Isa Mine Site, QLD, and requires working 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced remote area Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering gold standard care and health promotion to our onsite workforce.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Provide high-level nursing skills to work autonomously.
* Administer vaccinations.
* Maintain stock levels and comply with Department of Health & Human Services Protocols.
* Provide on-site health and minor injury management services.
* Manage emergencies and primary care of injured workers.
* Conduct drug and alcohol testing, lead level, and hydration testing.
* Perform medical screening such as preliminary observations.
* Audiometric testing.
Candidate Requirements
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Current First Aid Certification and CPR Certification.
* Current Working with Children Check.
