A Perth-based urban planning consultancy is seeking a newly qualified planning consultant to join its dynamic team. Known for delivering high-quality strategic and statutory planning services, the firm works closely with public and private sector clients to help shape growing communities.
In this full-time, entry-level role, you will support senior staff by preparing planning reports, conducting policy research, and liaising with clients and authorities.
The position offers hands-on experience across diverse projects, with strong mentoring and professional development opportunities in a collaborative and supportive environment.

In this role, you'll:
- Support the preparation of planning approvals and statutory submissions
- Assist with research and analysis of planning legislation and schemes
- Prepare draft correspondence, reports, and recommendations for clients
- Work with job managers to ensure timelines and budgets are met
- Coordinate with technical consultants and contribute to project outcomes
- Communicate with councils, state agencies, and community stakeholders
Skills and Experience:
- Recently completed tertiary qualifications in Urban & Regional Planning
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A keen interest in statutory and strategic planning processes
- Ability to manage time effectively and work across multiple projects
- Familiarity with WA planning frameworks is highly regarded
- High attention to detail and strong research capabilities
