The Role
Are you a natural storyteller with a heart for the holidays? We are seeking a dedicated, professional, and charismatic individual to portray Santa Claus or Mrs Claus for the 2026 holiday season. This isn't just a costume role; it's about creating core memories for families, spreading genuine joy, and upholding the timeless magic of the season.
You will be the centerpiece of our holiday experience, engaging with children and adults alike in a high-energy, high-visibility environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Create Magic: Engage in authentic, warm, and playful interactions with visitors of all ages.
* Photography: Pose professionally for high-quality holiday portraits, maintaining a cheerful demeanor throughout long sessions.
* Storytelling: Maintain a deep knowledge of North Pole "lore" (reindeer names, workshop details, etc.) to answer curious questions from children.
* Professionalism: Maintain the integrity of the suit and persona at all times while on-site.
* Reliability: Adhere to a strict seasonal schedule, including weekends and peak holiday hours.
What We're Looking For
* The Look: A natural beard is highly preferred, though high-quality designer sets will be considered for the right candidate.
* The Personality: Patient, kind, and energetic. You must have a "jolly" disposition and the ability to handle high-volume crowds with grace.
* Experience: Previous experience as a professional Santa, performer, or educator is a significant plus.
* Physical Stamina: Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods and interact comfortably with children.
Requirements
* Must pass a comprehensive background check (Working with Children Check).
* Must be available for training in early-October and full-time/part-time shifts through to December 24th.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
