The M&A Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Conduct in-depth financial analysis and modelling for potential mergers and acquisitions.
* Support due diligence processes and provide detailed reports on findings.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess strategic opportunities.
* Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
* Monitor industry trends and provide insights to support decision-making.
* Assist in the preparation of transaction documents and agreements.
* Maintain accurate records of financial data and project progress.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Profile
A successful M&A Analyst should have:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
* Knowledge of the retail industry is highly regarded.
* Proficiency in relevant software, such as Excel and financial analysis tools.
