Service Technician (Electrical)

Your position

Working at one of Australia's most advanced picking solution sites in Moorebank, Sydney, the Service Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our Automated Material Handling System. Your responsibilities will include performing both maintenance and operational duties as directed, as well as responding to any reactive calls to ensure optimal productivity, asset availability, health & safety compliance, service quality, and effective teamwork within agreed timelines.

You will work within your assigned shift pattern on a range of tasks involving electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control systems, including the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of all Vanderlande equipment on site.

Responsibilities
* Address service requests and issues promptly to minimise downtime.
* Keep accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities and system performance.
* Always look for ways to improve processes and performance.
* Anticipate issues and address them before they escal.
* Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in all work.
* Foster a collaborative environment to achieve the best results.
* Always seek ways to enhance processes and performance.
* Regularly review work and make necessary adjustments.
* Acknowledge and celebrate improvements and successes.
* Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines.
* Always wear and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
* Adhere to Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures to ensure machinery is safely de‐energised during maintenance.
Skills And Qualifications
* Electrical Service Technician Must possess an A Grade Electrical License.
* Ability to act as a technical contact during incidents, handling requests from internal and external stakeholders.
* Familiarity with Industrial Network solutions and PLC control systems is desirable.
* Previous experience with service activities on automated materials handling systems is a significant advantage.
* Must have a methodical approach to required workflows.
* A flexible attitude towards shift work is necessary.
* Experience with Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (ASRS) is beneficial.
