What's the role?
As Risk Advisor you will report directly to the Head of Business Continuity and Risk your main objective will be to foster a resilient risk management culture, ensuring our people can perform optimally in a safe workplace. Your responsibilities will include:
* Supporting risk management and business continuity activities, including developing business impact assessments and documenting contingency plans across technology and disaster recovery, operations, facilities and people..
* Maintaining risk registers by reviewing, updating, and tracking risks, controls, and actions.
* Supporting the review of departmental risk registers to ensure resilience documentation is current.
* Maintaining incident and crisis management team membership details and contact lists.
* Providing coordination and administrative support during incidents and disruptions.
* Assisting with planning and delivery of incident and crisis management activities, such as desktop exercises and scenario workshops.
* Leading the alignment of Emergency Planning Committees and maintaining Emergency Management Plans into the Incident response capability framework.
* Maintaining emergency communication and messaging procedures and tools.
* Supporting reporting and executive briefing requirements by collating data and drafting reports.
* Assisting with audit and regulatory readiness.
* Conducting quality assurance and continuous improvement activities across Health, Safety and Security (HSS).
* Maintaining HSS documentation, including intranet content and training materials.
* Contributing to the development and delivery of HSS training and awareness campaigns.
* Contributing to broader Health, Safety and Security projects.
Who are you?
We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a passion for risk management and resilience. You'll bring:
* Experience in applying risk management approaches, or working within a risk, business continuity, or resilience field.
* Proven experience in providing administrative or coordination support.
* Demonstrated proficiency in data management and risk assessment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation.
* Proficiency in using Google Workspace.
* Tertiary qualifications in Risk Management, Emergency Management, or Business Continuity will be highly regarded.
