Opportunity for an experienced senior fleet officer to work with the emergency services division of a state government agency. This is a 3-month role based in Thornbury Location.
Your new role
As a Senior fleet maintenance officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the fleet team. You will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, coordinating with various departments, and supporting the management team in achieving operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee daily administrative operations within the fleet management department.
* Raising purchase orders through SAP
* Coordinate accident repairs and services acting as point of contact
* Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless communication and workflow.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fleet operations.
* Assist in the procurement of vehicles.
* Support the management team with scheduling, reporting, and project coordination.
* Handle customer enquiries and provide exceptional service.
What you'll need to succeed
* Proven experience in a similar fleet maintenance role
* Microsoft Office software and SAP experience is essential.
* Excellent administration skills
* Be available to start immediately
* There is a requirement that all employees are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (3x Vaccines)
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
