Practice Information:
The practice is currently a single-doctor setup but can accommodate up to three full-time doctors. It offers a variety of health checks and medicals, with visiting allied health services including Podiatrist, Audiologist, Diabetes Educator, Psychologist, Dietician, and Exercise Physiologist. Support is provided by registered and enrolled nurses. The practice is a registered vaccination centre for Q-fever, yellow fever, and other vaccines, and offers visits to nursing homes with good relationships established with local facilities. It is a young, dynamic, and supportive team that values high-quality patient care, social events, and family outings. The team is composed of motivated and pleasant staff committed to a caring environment.
Position Details:
* Handling a diverse range of medical conditions typical of rural general practice, including antenatal care, chronic disease management, paediatric conditions, employment medicals, mental health, women’s and men’s health checks, immunisations, and travel medicine.
* Emphasis on preventative medicine, especially given the aging population.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Current AHPRA registration
* Minimum of 3 years GP practice experience
* Appropriate training and experience in general practice
* Compliance with Queensland medical practice legislation
Salary Information:
65% of receipts or $150/hour for the first 12 weeks (whichever is greater), plus 65% of Service Incentive Payments (negotiable).
