We are seeking two (2) reliable and safety-conscious Patching Plant & Truck Operators to join our Civil Operations team in delivering vital road maintenance services to our community. Two (2) permanent positions are available, with a remuneration package of $2,391.68 gross per fortnight, with the opportunity to progress to $2,870.02 gross per fortnight, plus superannuation (11.5%). Key responsibilities include:
* Operate and maintain Council plant and equipment, including MR trucks and specialist patching equipment.
* Implement traffic control plans and coordinate worksite activities, including site supervision and staff coordination.
* Undertake general labouring duties and road maintenance activities such as road reinstatement, sealing, shoulder, and pothole repairs.
* Maintain safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
Qualifications and skills required:
* Experience operating specialist plant and equipment and MR trucks.
* General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
* Class MR Driver's Licence.
* SafeWork NSW Traffic Controller Training Card and Implement Traffic Control Plans Training Card.
* Enjoy working outdoors and working effectively in a team.
