Government organisation seeking a dedicated Social Media Coordinator to assist our Communications and Marketing team in executing and monitoring our high impact campaign. You will play a key role in promoting initiatives while ensuring compliance with all applicable legislation and safety regulations.
Key Accountabilities:
Assist the Communications and Marketing team in the delivery of the new waste service social media campaign
Create, monitor, and moderate all social media posts related to campaign
Manage website changes and approvals as necessary
Support photography and video production for the communications plan
Provide reporting on campaign performance and engagement metrics
Collaborate with the Resource Recovery team for a seamless marketing program delivery
Duties:
Coordinate all campaign social media posts while adhering to scheduled deadlines
Work closely with the Communications and Marketing team to align scheduled posts with the overall social media calendar
Ensure compliance with media policy and ensure that all posts receive appropriate review and approval before publication
Assist in managing budget targets and procurement requirements associated with the marketing campaign
Maintain a high-quality environment that meets established promotional standards
Foster and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, suppliers, sponsors, partners, and the media
Qualifications and Experience:
Demonstrated experience in managing social media marketing campaigns
Availability to work outside ordinary hours to support the team and monitor high-engagement social posts as needed
Current Class C driver's license
Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related fields
Experience in digital community management and crisis management on social media platforms
Familiarity with website content management systems
Flexibility in working hours to accommodate urgent demands as required
