StormiDayz Therapy Services is a growing private allied health practice located in Gatton, QLD. We provide psychology and speech therapy services in a welcoming, neuroaffirming environment for children, teens, and adults.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Administration Officer to support the day-to-day running of our busy clinic. This is a front-of-house role requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, and warm, professional client interaction.
This position is ideal for someone with prior experience in medical or allied health administration who enjoys a varied role and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Position Details
* Part-time: Monday to Thursday
* Hours: 9:00am – 2:00pm or 9:30am – 2:30pm
* Location: Gatton, QLD
* Hourly rate: Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020 (MA000027)
* Start date: March 2026 (flexible for the right candidate)
Key Responsibilities
Administration & Reception
* Managing phone calls, emails, and client enquiries professionally
* Scheduling, rescheduling, and cancelling appointments
* Maintaining accurate clinician calendars and availability
* Monitoring ongoing bookings and waitlists
Billing & Practice Support
* Preparing and sending invoices accurately
* Supporting NDIS, private, and plan-managed billing enquiries
* Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
Client Engagement
* Providing a warm and welcoming reception experience
* Building positive rapport with families, support coordinators, and referrers
* Offering tea/coffee to clients and maintaining a calm reception space
Clinic Operations
* Light cleaning duties including vacuuming, mopping, dishes, and kitchen upkeep
* Tidying toys and shared spaces daily
* Monitoring and restocking office and kitchen supplies
* Assisting clinicians with printing, scanning, and resource preparation
General Support
* Supporting clinicians with scheduling and coordination
* Assisting with general administrative and organisational tasks
* Performing other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the practice

* Comfortable working in a busy allied health environment
Essential Requirements
* Previous experience in medical or allied health administration (highly desirable)
* Strong computer skills and ability to learn practice management software
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Current Blue Card (or ability to obtain)
* Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Current First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
