The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a Cadet Surveyor to further develop their skills within a land development-focused environment. You'll gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage subdivision planning through to on-site pegging and delivery. This role offers a strong balance of office and field work, supporting experienced surveyors while building your technical and practical capabilities.
Key responsibilities
* Assisting on subdivision and land development projects
* Supporting fieldwork including set-outs, estate pegging and site measurements
* Assisting with preparation of plans and surveying documentation
* Working with senior surveyors on project delivery and coordination
* Maintaining accurate records and contributing to project milestones
* Liaising with internal teams including planning and project management
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with regulations
About You
We're looking for a motivated Cadet Surveyor who is eager to grow their career in land development.
You will ideally have:
* A tertiary qualification (or currently completing) in Surveying, Spatial Science or similar
* Some practical experience in cadastral surveying (cadetship, internship or similar)
* Australian citizenship or full working rights
* Exposure to surveying equipment and software
* Strong interest in subdivisions and land development projects
* Willingness to work across both field and office environments
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong communication skills and a team-focused attitude
