Role Overview
The Clinical Skills Facilitator works collaboratively with staff to support nursing and midwifery clinical skills development of entry-to-practice nursing students.

Reporting to the Manager, the Clinical Skills Facilitator has a key role in ensuring that all students enrolled in entry to practice courses can demonstrate competence in clinical skills. The role supports teaching and assessment by certifying that clinical skills can be demonstrated in workshops for practicum units, inclusive of simulation activities, as well as providing site-based clinical facilitation and supervision of students while undertaking clinical placement.

Applicants should note they will be required to travel to and work from various metropolitan health sites, as their ordinary place of work to visit students on practicum.
