Job Title:
National Technical Training Manager, Tax

Role Overview:
As a National Technical Training Manager, Tax, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of technical training programs for the tax team across Australia. You will work closely with senior leaders and subject matter experts to identify and address training needs, and oversee the creation and delivery of high-quality training materials.

Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate delivery of timely and relevant training programs addressing tax technical training needs by level and market
* Work closely with senior leaders and other subject matter experts to coordinate identification, creation and delivery of timely and relevant tax technical thought leadership materials to internal and external stakeholders
* Manage national technical training schedule and L&D budget, ensuring training is appropriately delivered and received by relevant stakeholders and providing regular updates on expense tracking
* Curate and manage a knowledge library to ensure easy access to contemporary training tools by Tax team members
* Lead national training projects as required, preparing ad hoc project/business initiative reports and status updates

Requirements:
* A qualified chartered accountant with significant client-facing tax experience (>5 years postgraduate experience), including working knowledge of the Australian taxation regime
* Experience (or demonstrated interest in) managing a holistic technical development program
* Ability to critically analyse technical materials and programs and conduct gap analyses to align with technical competencies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with key stakeholders on training needs
