Assistant Venue Manager-Far North Queensland-Coastal Location We are seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Manager for this busy venue in remote Queensland. This is a very hands-on Assistant Manager role and candidates need to be willing to be hands on across all areas of the hotel as required. The venue has gaming machines, busy public bar, restaurant and detached bottleshop. Package: $90,000 Base Salary Super FREE Accommodation Nightly Duty Meal Duties: Assist the General Manager in the day to day running of the venue 100% Working behind the bar-making drinks, serving drinks, clearing tables, Stocking fridges & shelves Overseeing and working in restaurant, reception & bottle shop Stock control and assisting with retail purchasing General payouts, maintenance and compliance of gaming machines Staff rosters, timesheets, supervision and training of staff Supervision of up to 30 staff Cashing up and balancing of tills & safe/float counts Cleaning & changing of beer lines and kegs After hours check ins for reception Customer Service, handling customer inquiries, guest complaints Ensuring customer safety at all times Other duties as required Other Directions as given by the GM Candidates Must Have: Extensive product knowledge and be able to work at a fast pace and enforce the Local AMP rules relevant to the local area.
