A unique leadership opportunity to contribute to Australia's diverse and dynamic community broadcasting sector
As the Manager of the Community Broadcasting Section, you will lead a committed team of 8 who are responsible for delivering core regulatory functions across the community broadcasting sector – this includes overseeing licensing processes, complaint assessments, investigations and enforcement activities, as well as driving project work to support a fair, vibrant and sustainable sector.
One area of focus will be advancing community broadcasting initiatives to contribute to Outcome 17 of the National Agreement on Closing the Gap (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have access to information and services enabling participation in informed decision-making regarding their own lives).
Critical to success in this role will be building and maintaining collaborative and productive relationships with key stakeholders within the agency, government and community broadcasting sector, including First Nations broadcasters.
In addition to providing strategic leadership and guidance to the Community Broadcasting Section, you will be part of the Content Safeguards Branch and Content Division leadership team and an active contributor to organisational capability and culture across the agency.

EL2 Managers are a key leadership cohort at the ACMA. They manage staff and corporate accountabilities, provide expertise, undertake complex regulatory work and support Executive and General Managers to deliver on strategic and operational priorities.
