The Woolworths Facilities Management Service team operates around the country to support our stores, including performing day to day service and maintenance efficiently and with minimum disruption to our stores and customers.
At Woolworths, we strive to be at the forefront of refrigeration technologies and have stores that will utilise trans-critical/cascade CO2 refrigeration systems on RDM, Danfoss, Dixell iPro and Emerson Controllers. This role will provide exposure to the latest supermarket HVAC systems and provide opportunities to further develop your skills. We also provide our team members with the latest product training via our relationships with industry-leading partners.
The Role
As a Service Technician, you will ensure facilities management services to our customers are at the highest levels and ensure we operate as a Proactive, Responsive and Efficient service model, whilst building relationships across the business. Our Service Technicians work with us on a permanent full-time basis and across designated areas in a reactive and proactive maintenance capacity.
In the role, your responsibilities will be:
5. Visiting various stores to perform troubleshooting, identifying issues and servicing equipment
6. Delivering preventative maintenance works aligning with our planned schedules
7. Reviewing tasks to be completed
8. Completing associated paperwork
9. Monitoring replacement spare part inventory
10. Liaising with our technical team on the status of tasks
11. Developing relationships with our facilities management, support and technical teams, store managers and teams and our call support centre team

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who is passionate about going the extra mile for our stores and customers. Bring with you your existing HVAC know-how, a keen attitude and it will be valued and built upon!
The suitable candidate will have:
12. Qualifications/experience in HVAC
13. Experience within the commercial air conditioning service and installation industry, with commercial supermarket experience a plus
14. An ArcTick Refrigerant Handling Licence & Restricted Electrical Workers Licence
15. Flexibility to travel to various sites and to be on call as required (rostered system)
16. A solutions mindset and the ability to think outside the box
17. A team oriented approach
18. An ability to self manage tasks
19. A good level of computer literacy (Google suite of Apps an advantage)
