This position plays a critical role within the Clinical Neurophysiology Unit in the Department of Neurology, providing comprehensive diagnostic services to patients of all ages.
The Unit is actively involved in both training and research, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care requires strong interpersonal skills, written communication skills, verbal communication skills with both clinical and non-clinical staff and the public, ability to work with computer-based equipment, common software packages, providing written provisional reports of investigations including reliably recognising findings that are outside the range of normal.
Key Responsibilities:
* Record high quality electrophysiological investigations in a clinical environment
* Undertake in-service or other training to acquire new skills relevant to the position
* Work with computer-based equipment and common software packages
Essential Requirements:
* Diploma in Clinical Neurophysiology from RMIT or equivalent
* Ability to record high quality electrophysiological investigations in a clinical environment, variable levels of supervision
* Willingness to undertake in-service or other training to acquire new skills relevant to the position
* High levels of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with both clinical and non-clinclinical staff and the public
